This full-time outpatient role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and autonomous environment.
Position Overview
This position is designed for those who are passionate about providing specialized care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures. The role primarily involves working with patients pre and post-procedure, including EP studies, ablations, and device implantations. Our ideal candidate will possess strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and manage care under indirect physician supervision, adhering to established regulations and evidence-based practices.
- Travel to various clinic locations as needed, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
- Collaborate with electrophysiologists to manage patient care effectively.
- Order and schedule necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Engage in clinical trials and participate in ongoing training.
- Contribute to the education and training of fellow APPs and nursing staff.
- Foster a collaborative team environment through effective communication and respect for all team members.

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
- Current licensure from the Georgia State Composite Board.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in general cardiology or 1 year in electrophysiology.
