Job Title: Director of Institutional Development

Martha's Table is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Institutional Development to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and implementing the full gift cycle of all institutions, including foundations, corporations, government agencies, and community/civic organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase support from institutional donors
  • Manage and steward relationships with current and potential institutional donors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, develop materials, and execute strategies
  • Prepare and submit proposals, reports, and other fundraising materials
  • Track progress and report on fundraising activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience in development, with a successful track record in managing and growing portfolios from institutional donors
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding fundraising goals
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising staff and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate a compelling case for support and engage donors effectively
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement data-driven fundraising strategies
