We are in search of a Program Coordinator who will work closely with community collaborators, Foundation personnel, and external advisors to execute programs that ignite solutions through innovative convening strategies in our exceptional conference facility. The Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in orchestrating influential meetings, assessing and monitoring conference proposals, analyzing conference results, and supporting the creation of program-related research.

Key Responsibilities include:

PROPOSAL MANAGEMENT:

  • Evaluate conference proposals and suggest feasible conferences that align with program criteria.
  • Conduct research in various topics as needed to assess conference proposals and develop successful events.
  • Generate and distribute weekly updates on the status of conference proposals.
  • Lead weekly proposal review sessions with the Program Team.

CONFERENCE DEVELOPMENT:

  • Communicate with conveners, providing recommendations on program content, participant lists, agendas, and other necessary materials to ensure timely information exchange.
  • Act as the conference host, welcoming attendees, participating in sessions, and dining with the group as appropriate, while maintaining ongoing communication with conveners.
  • Oversee the conference evaluation process, including distributing surveys to conveners and compiling summary evaluation reports for review.
  • Assist in organizing Community Briefings and nonprofit capacity-building events.

PROGRAM RESEARCH:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Program and Strategy and Senior Program Officer on research initiatives that support the Foundation's mission and program objectives.
  • Work with the Senior Program Officer to develop, manage, and facilitate conferences that advance specific interests of the Foundation.
  • Engage in program strategy and development meetings as required.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Support the Communication and Engagement Manager in creating content for the Foundation's website and other communications.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Program Team as needed, including scheduling meetings.
  • Address inquiries regarding Foundation programs and policies when appropriate.
  • Represent the Foundation at community events.

Minimum qualifications include a minimum of two years of professional experience, including experience in meeting design, and the ability to work onsite. Familiarity with the Racine community, experience with nonprofit organizations, and a Master's degree in a relevant field are preferred. This role requires proficiency in operating a computer and utilizing relevant software, including Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
