Job Title: Local Contract Radiology Technician - Interventional Radiology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team on a local contract basis. As an Interventional Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring patient care plans, serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines, and assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care and committed to delivering exceptional service.
  • Minimum of two years of current RN Med/Surg experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program.
  • Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN state license.
  • One year of Cerner experience.
