Hotel Remediation Travel Team Member

At Matalegion Holdings LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality professional to join our Hotel Remediation Travel Team as a 1099 contractor. This team is dedicated to resolving operational and service challenges in underperforming hotel properties.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a 5-person remediation team to assess, develop, and execute strategic plans for improving hotel operations.

  • Own the process of transforming underperforming departments (Operations, Guest Services, Food & Beverage, People & Culture) to restore service excellence and financial health.
  • Work alongside hotel leadership to identify weaknesses, implement best practices, and optimize daily operations for sustainability.
  • Lead on-site operational recovery efforts, ensuring compliance with brand standards, and improving guest satisfaction scores.
  • Provide coaching and training to hotel teams, ensuring long-term success post-remediation.
  • Report to the Sr. Consultant on remediation progress, key performance improvements, and next steps for continuous growth.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across the team to address all aspects of hotel performance improvement.

Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of hospitality experience, with proven success in hotel operations, remediation, and turnaround projects.
Deep knowledge of hotel operations, service standards, and financial performance management.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to travel extensively for 3-month project contracts.
Independent, motivated, and adaptable to fast-changing project environments.
Experience with major hotel brands (Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, etc.) is highly desirable.
