Job Summary:
Lewiston Public Schools is seeking a dedicated educator to support students with complex learning and developmental needs in a unique setting attached to our community school.

About the Role:
This position plays a critical role in meeting the diverse needs of our students, requiring a team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to create personalized learning plans. As a Support Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, fostering inclusive environments, and contributing to the development of innovative programs.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with special education staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote academic growth, social skills, and emotional intelligence.
- Work closely with other educators to ensure seamless transitions between classroom settings and provide comprehensive support services as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively.
