About the Role

This part-time position involves providing administrative support to the Pre-Apprenticeship Manager and Apprenticeship Business Coordinator, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct some intakes and assessments for potential students, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and assist with data entry to keep student records accurate and up-to-date.
  • Regular follow-up and connections with pre-apprentices and apprentices to ensure grant requirements are met.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion, ensuring compliance with school district privacy policies and regulations.
  • Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office to create and/or update documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or higher in a related field or documented experience of at least 4 years.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clerical role, preferably in an educational or training environment.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with file management and data entry.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience.
