Job Title: PRIDE Clinician

At Northeast Family Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PRIDE Clinician to join our team. As a PRIDE Clinician, you will work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths and realize their full potential.

Job Summary:

The PRIDE Clinician will provide structured, consistent, and strength-based therapeutic interventions to the LGBTQIA+ community in a client's home or in the office. You will work with clients to help them access their core strengths and realize their full potential, utilizing a variety of approaches such as individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide culturally competent and LGBTQIA+-affirming services to clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and build on their strengths and resilience
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on LGBTQIA+ issues and mental health
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in LGBTQIA+ mental health
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related human services field
  • Licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, etc.) or a Limited Permit in the state of NY
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting preferred
  • Valid driver's license with access to reliable and consistent access to a vehicle preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
