The Catering and Event Staff hold a vital position within A This Little Piggy Catering. The perfect candidate should be enthusiastic about learning, composed in a dynamic environment, adaptable, and possess a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes and guidelines to meet production, delivery, and service timelines.
  • Ability to prepare with or without guidance.
  • Wash, chop, and sort ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, and meats.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen after preparation and service, adhering to high cleanliness standards.
  • Safely store or dispose of excess food following food-handling protocols.
  • Keep refrigerators and storage areas organized and tidy.
  • Ensure food and supply items are stored according to established standards.
  • Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, supervisors, and management.
  • Execute tasks safely while maintaining a clean and secure work environment.
  • Clean dishes, wash cooking utensils and cookware, manage waste disposal, and sanitize the kitchen.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in the order specified by the Head Chef or designated leader.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Positive demeanor and strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in the workplace.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods.
  • Quick learner in a dynamic environment.
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate high integrity in all actions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in culinary preparation is advantageous.

Additional Information: Must be able to lift and push over 50 pounds.

Compensation: $18/hour to $25 based on qualifications.
