We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Atria Senior Living. As a key member of our culinary services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily meal production, service, and culinary staffing in our community. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily meal production, service, and culinary staffing in our community.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Supervise and train culinary staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment that meets or exceeds regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional resident satisfaction.
  • Manage kitchen budgets and financial reports to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff, inventory, and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Valid ServSafe certification or similar food service manager's permit required.
