Job Summary

The Phlebotomist Registrar is a vital member of our East Ohio LLC team, responsible for collecting, processing, and transporting blood and body fluid specimens. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood and body fluid specimens from patients
  • Perform clerical duties, including faxing, copying, and mailing reports
  • Answer phones professionally and provide excellent customer service
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Successful completion of a formal training course in Phlebotomy from a recognized school
  • Completion of certification or registry exam given by a Nationally recognized certifying agency within 1 year of hire date
  • Minimum 1-year Clinical Laboratory experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Full use of both hands
  • Good finger dexterity
  • Near vision required
  • Ability to stand for 4-6 hours per day and walk for 4-6 hours per day
