Job Summary

The Phlebotomist Registrar is a vital member of our East Ohio LLC team, responsible for collecting, processing, and transporting blood and body fluid specimens. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood and body fluid specimens from patients
  • Transport specimens to the laboratory for analysis
  • Perform clerical duties, including data entry and report preparation
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure smooth laboratory operations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Completion of a formal training course in Phlebotomy from a recognized school
  • Certification or registry exam from a Nationally recognized certifying agency within 1 year of hire date
  • Minimum 1 year of Clinical Laboratory experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Full use of both hands
  • Good finger dexterity
  • Near vision required
  • Ability to stand for 4-6 hours per day and walk for 4-6 hours per day
