Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist Registrar to join our team at East Ohio LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and transporting blood and body fluid specimens, as well as performing clerical duties such as faxing, copying, and mailing reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and transport blood and body fluid specimens
  • Perform clerical duties such as faxing, copying, and mailing reports
  • Work with patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner
  • Multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Meet physical requirements of the job, including standing and walking for long periods

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Successful completion of a formal training course in Phlebotomy from a recognized school
  • Completion of certification or registry exam given by a Nationally recognized certifying agency within 1 year of hire date
  • Minimum 1-year Clinical Laboratory experience preferred, but new graduate acceptable

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a variety of situations, including alone or in a team
  • Work on any shift, including weekends and holidays
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
