Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team and deliver exceptional patient care. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing guidance to our pharmacy staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
  • Develop and implement patient care programs to promote healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS Health from competitors.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve pharmacy operations and patient care.
Requirements
  • Active pharmacy license in the state where employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Pharmacist in charge listed on the pharmacy state license.
  • Submission of required information/documents to the state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use).
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
