Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team.

About the Role

As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in their homes, assisting them with transitioning from the hospital and providing the continuous care needed to remain at home with their loved ones. You will work closely with our patients, their families, and our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in good standing.
  • One year of experience in pediatrics or medical-surgical nursing.
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to travel to patient homes as needed.
