Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the patient's physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document all care provided.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in good standing.
  • At least 6 months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to travel to patient homes and work in a fast-paced environment.
