Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Job Summary

The Private Duty Nurse RN will work with our patients and their families to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each patient
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • At least 6 months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Ability to speak, write, read and understand English
  • Ability to travel to patient homes as needed
