About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Infusion Nurse to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our cancer care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, blood products, and other treatments to patients with cancer, following established guidelines and protocols.
  • Assess patient compliance with medications, treatments, and appointments, and provide education and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, and connect them with community resources and services as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to oncology care.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • BSN degree or higher.
  • At least two years of experience in oncology or infusion nursing.
  • OCN certification or ONS provider card preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
