CT Tech Specialist Opportunity at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Tech Specialist to join our team at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital. As a CT Tech Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
  • Position patients and adjust equipment settings to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Assist physicians with invasive procedures and provide support during imaging exams
  • Monitor and record patient information using electronic documentation systems
  • Apply knowledge of patient-specific needs to deliver age-appropriate care
  • Orient and mentor new staff members to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Practice radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff
  • Provide a safe environment for administering contrast materials
  • Assist with patient transportation and follow Standard Precautions for infection control
