Your Role

As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating imaging equipment to capture radiographs of specific body areas.
  • Adjusting equipment settings to optimize exposure factors.
  • Developing and processing imaging films.
  • Utilizing mobile imaging equipment in various settings, including operating rooms and emergency departments.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to new team members.
  • Implementing radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
  • Ensuring a safe environment for administering contrast materials.
  • Adhering to Standard Precautions with appropriate personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in Radiology or MRI.
  • Specific training and experience in CT scanning preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiology and CT is preferred.
