Key Responsibilities
As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will:
- Produce high-quality computerized tomographic images of designated anatomical areas following established protocols.
- Operate imaging equipment and adjust controls to optimize exposure settings.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Assist physicians during invasive procedures and ensure patient safety.
- Utilize computerized documentation systems to monitor and record patient information.
- Adhere to radiation protection standards to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Provide a safe environment for administering contrast materials.
- Support the transport of patients as needed.
Qualifications
High School Graduate / GED is required.
