Position Overview:

The Senior Business Process Analyst plays a pivotal role in collaborating with the Senior Management team to assess, design, develop, and implement standardized reporting, business workflows, and information systems solutions. This position encompasses all facets of project management from initiation to execution. The Senior Business Process Analyst will primarily oversee the formulation and upkeep of business strategies, dashboards for various projects, initiatives, and categories. Acting as a strategic advisor, the Senior Business Process Analyst will address challenges faced by the organization and will be responsible for developing and monitoring category and program performance while keeping an eye on emerging trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 50% Lead all stages of a project's life cycle, including identifying business needs, establishing criteria and requirements, understanding business impacts, and designing and implementing the project.
  • 25% Serve as a subject matter expert, conducting research and analysis within assigned projects or business categories.
  • 25% Establish and report on performance metrics for assigned projects or categories to assess business value.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to Manager/Senior Manager.
  • This role does not have direct reports but requires technical leadership of a project team, including selecting team members, assessing capabilities, providing necessary training, and evaluating project performance.

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires minimal overnight travel, less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent seated in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to lift or move light items.

Working Environment:

  • The position is based in a comfortable indoor setting, with any unpleasant conditions being infrequent and manageable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience applying research findings in retail, brand management, or category management is essential (familiarity with Tableau, Google Big Query, SQL).
  • Extensive knowledge of statistical methodologies and modeling.
  • Experience in a consulting or project management role within a corporate environment is preferred.
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is advantageous.

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent in a relevant field.
