About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst Senior to join our team at Georgia Tech. As a Business Analyst Senior, you will play a critical role in conducting discovery, defining requirements, prioritizing, and routing development work to the appropriate technical support teams on behalf of Academic Programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document and analyze complex user business processes and requirements
- Develop specifications and test plans associated with system development or modification
- Advise and support technical groups in systems development
- Lead testing of new or modified systems
- Provide communications links between user and technical groups
- Prepare reports and other documentation related to system assignments
- Provide ongoing user support, including troubleshooting and resolution of complex system issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or IT-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Eight to ten years of job-related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
- Salesforce Platform App Builder
- Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
- Demonstrated Salesforce Trailhead knowledge or ranking
Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of various documentation processes, business system architecture, and associated technologies
- Advanced skills in data organization and analysis, problem-solving, systems documentation, and report writing
- Skills in functional leadership and cross-communication between functional user and technical groups
- Ability to manage work on multiple projects with competing priorities
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences
- Effective analytical and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational, time management skills, and professionalism
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
