Electro-Mechanical Production Technician

Join us at SpaceX as an Electro-Mechanical Production Technician and contribute to the success of our Starlink satellite constellation project As a member of our production team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and test critical components of our satellites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly, integration, and testing of satellite components and systems
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize production workflows

Requirements:
High school degree or equivalency certificate
1+ years of hands-on work experience

Preferred Skills:
2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, integration or mechanical assembly experience
Associate degree
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and work from drawings, controlled documentation and processes such as: layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures/work instructions; schematics, engineering drawings, and parts list
Able to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation and Benefits:
Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
