**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Stryker's Emergency Care division in Redmond, Washington. As a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing lifesaving medical devices.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires living within commuting distance of our Redmond, Washington office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with Creo Modeling and Ansys FEA software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop medical devices, including plastic parts, electronics packaging, electro-mechanical systems, wire harnesses, patient interfacing accessories, and power systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, build and test prototypes, and analyze designs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management, to deliver high-quality products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, applying knowledge to improve existing products and develop new ones.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of mechanical engineering design work experience.
  • Experience with Creo Modeling and Ansys FEA software (desired).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The estimated salary range for this position is $98,300 - $161,100 USD per year, plus bonus eligible and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
