Position Overview:
Lecturer in Biomolecular Engineering

Salary Range:

Compensation for teaching a standard five-credit course ranges from $9,322 to $19,518, based on salary points. Please refer to the UCSC Salary Scales for detailed information regarding the Non-senate Instructional (NSI) Unit 18 Pre-six Lecturer Academic Year scale.


Percent Time:
Variable, depending on the assigned course load.

Position Duration:

Appointments are generally made for one or more quarters of the academic year, including fall, winter, and spring, with the possibility of summer sessions.

Qualifications:
Basic qualifications (required at time of application):
- M.S. (or equivalent foreign degree) in biomolecular engineering or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated teaching experience, which may include college-level teaching, TA experience, research presentations, or professional development training seminars.
