Job Title: Peer Support Manager

At AtlantiCare, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Peer Support Manager to join our team. As a Peer Support Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses and/or substance use disorders to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of Peer Support Specialists to provide individualized support and guidance to consumers/members.
  • Develop and implement program plans to achieve contracted/budgeted levels of service.
  • Collaborate with behavioral health staff to build rapport and coordinate care.
  • Provide on-call support to staff as needed.
  • Market and promote services to increase patient volume and visibility.
  • Ensure staff work within the core competencies of peer support workers.
  • Endorse and enact recovery-oriented practices and values.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree AND two years of mental health direct care experience, which may include experience in peer support services, or
  • A high school diploma or GED AND four years of mental health direct care experience, which may include experience in peer support services
  • Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS)
  • Identify as a person in recovery with at least two years of successful recovery
  • Working knowledge of different pathways to recovery and social systems including evidence-based practices
  • Valid NJ Driver's License required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dual credential to include CPRS and Certified Recovery Support Practitioner (CRSP)
