Field Contract Coordinator

At DuPont, we are committed to delivering sustainable solutions that bring real purpose and value. We are seeking a highly skilled Field Contract Administrator to join our team at the Yerkes manufacturing site in the Buffalo, NY area.
The Field Contract Administrator will be responsible for coordinating interactions with contractors, including package preparation, pre-job meetings, equipment inspection, timesheets, and post-job evaluation. This role will ensure compliance with DuPont's Core Values, including Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), and will participate in the package preparation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance with DuPont's Core Values and EHS requirements
- Understanding scopes of work and ensuring compliance with Site Contracting Strategy
- Participating in package preparation process and conducting pre-job meetings
- Inspecting contractor's equipment and accepting services or work completed
- Monitoring safety, quality, cost, and schedule
- Scheduling and coordinating contractor work, including preparing work and specialty permits
- Auditing Contractor Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and verifying receipt of services
- Signing and maintaining time sheets, material tickets, and documentation for receipt of services
- Maintaining daily reports of work and helping Contract Administrator resolve claims and issues
- Monitoring and documenting changes to contract and auditing contractor's safety program and performance
- Providing input on post-job evaluation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5-7 years of manufacturing or related experience required
- Process Safety Management (High Hazard Process/Low Hazard Operation) experience preferred
- Demonstrated performance as a self-starter, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience working with a unionized workforce
