Job Overview

We are a commercial interior design firm seeking a skilled Procurement Assistant to oversee multiple projects in our fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will efficiently communicate with team members and clients throughout project stages, ensuring timely delivery of products and exceptional customer satisfaction.

About the Role:

  • Expediting purchase orders and coordinating product delivery
  • Overseeing finish, textile, and shop drawing approvals with design staff
  • Liaising with third-party receiving partners to manage incoming products
  • Scheduling site measurements and installations as needed
  • Communicating project status and site readiness with designers and clients
  • Managing incoming products and scheduling installations with receiving warehouses
  • Collaborating with site supervisors, installers, warehouse personnel, installation managers, and project managers to achieve high customer satisfaction
  • Performing general clerical duties, including filing and data entry

Requirements:

  • Interior design/procurement background or related field experience preferred
  • Self-motivation, resourcefulness, ability to function in a team environment, positive attitude, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, BluBeam, and AutoDesk
  • Light shipping and receiving (able to lift 5-50lbs; heavier items with assistance)
