Position Overview -
Recreational Activities Coordinator:
We are in search of a compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Recreational Activities Coordinator to oversee daily planned activities for our residents.

If you have a passion for creativity, enjoy music and the arts, and possess the ability to organize engaging activities, we would love to hear from you.

In this position, you will receive assistance from our Activities Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Recreational Activities Coordinator, your duties will encompass: - Executing the activities program. - Developing a recurring and stimulating activities schedule. - Leading individualized activities for residents who are bed-bound. - Supporting residents in distributing and participating in craft activities. - Accurately completing necessary forms, reports, and progress notes. - Recognizing and addressing residents' spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs through regular interactions.

Qualifications:

To excel as a Recreational Activities Coordinator, you should possess: - State-approved Activities Director certification, having completed the 36-hour training course. - A warm and caring demeanor. - Strong collaborative skills. - Experience working with the elderly population. - CNA experience is advantageous.

What You Will Contribute:

  • At least one year of clinical scheduling experience is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional computer skills; experience with scheduling software is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse personalities.
