Position Overview

The Safety Operations Coordinator role is pivotal in ensuring the comprehensive physical security management of Qcells facilities. This position encompasses the administration, oversight, and strategic outsourcing of security services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facility security and system integrity by implementing, communicating, and monitoring security operations.
  • Generate Daily & Weekly reports and provide management with insights and recommendations regarding security-related projects.
  • Manage enhancements and modifications to security equipment, including all aspects of CCTV systems: installation, adjustments, and related tasks.
  • Maintain logs for visitors and truck trailers, ensuring the distribution of updated security protocols and procedures.
  • Administer relationships with security service providers, manage service invoicing, and take the lead in resolving security-related concerns.
  • Effectively convey internal and external security protocols and compliance measures to employees and contractors.
  • Enforce security standards and develop comprehensive security procedures.
  • Establish connections with local law enforcement agencies.
  • Prepare and present weekly security operation reports to management, detailing incidents, concerns, and any suspicious activities.
  • Foster strong relationships with local legal departments.
  • Support inter-departmental functions as necessary.
  • Develop and communicate internal security protocols to all team leaders and members.

Qualifications Required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in safety and security is essential.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with CCTV systems and physical security measures.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Exceptional logical reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and demonstrated reliability.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
