Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all functions of the finance department.
  • Supervise Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Flow, and Contract Administration.
  • Plan and oversee borrowing and bonding operations.
  • Adhere to accounting and financial protocols to ensure precise financial reporting and control.
  • Develop and implement accountability systems and internal controls to prevent inaccuracies in financial documentation.
  • Establish credit reporting standards for new clients and set credit limits or payment terms.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
  • A minimum of several years of progressive experience in a controller role or similar position, with a preference for prior experience in the commercial construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, and capable of learning Sage software.
