We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Wieland. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for collaborating with HR leaders and hiring managers to support hourly and professional talent acquisition across all business units.
Key Responsibilities- Sources and manages a diverse candidate pipeline, utilizing e-recruitment tools and strategies to attract top talent.
- Consults and advises HR leaders and hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of their talent needs and effectively manages expectations.
- Provides professional and responsive communications to all stakeholders in the recruiting process.
- Screens and evaluates candidates for a variety of roles and at different levels, utilizing assessment tools as needed.
- Drives key talent acquisition metrics by continuously improving the recruitment processes and monitoring candidate disposition in our applicant tracking system.
- Understands the total compensation and benefits package, company policies, practices, and differentiators, and can confidentially communicate them to candidates.
- Ability to influence and negotiate during the offer process.
- Arranges and completes the pre-hire onboarding process with new hires.
- Travels to and participates in sourcing events, such as diversity campus visits and recruiting fairs, as assigned.
- Handles special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 3-5 years of high-volume recruitment experience.
- Experience with iCIMS ATS is a plus.
- Manufacturing or heavy industrial industry recruiting experience is preferred.
- Proven positive customer service experience and employee relations skills to facilitate daily interaction with internal and external customers.
- Proven collaborative team player who operates with a sense of urgency, prioritizes effectively, multi-tasks, and identifies process improvements.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
