Job Description/ResponsibilitiesAs the Talent Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing key employee development programs, including employee performance development, succession planning, career pathing, talent profiles, and leadership development. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of talent development programming and a passion for fostering employee growth.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in talent development programs, who enjoys driving initiatives that support organizational growth and employee development.
Key Responsibilities:-
Performance Development (PDS):
- Act as the subject matter expert for the Performance Development program (PDS).
- Lead the optimization and expansion of PDS through training and coaching to ensure effective goal setting, execution, and evaluation.

Succession Planning:
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute succession planning frameworks.
- Identify key positions and critical skill sets, ensuring succession plans are in place for business continuity.
- Align succession planning efforts with organizational goals and strategic objectives.

Career Pathing:
- Design and implement career pathing frameworks across the organization.
- Provide guidance and coaching on career mapping and ensure career pathing is integrated into other talent programs, including talent acquisition, PDS/CDS (Career Development System), and learning & development.

Talent Development & High-Potential Identification:
- Collaborate with HR, department heads, and managers to identify high-potential employees and key development areas.
- Educate managers on available development resources and opportunities.

Talent Reviews:
- Lead talent review processes to assess employee skills, performance, and potential.
- Analyze data from talent reviews to identify trends and gaps in development and succession planning.
- Train managers and HR partners on the talent review process.
To be successful in this role, you'll need the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years relevant experience in talent development programs
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing talent development programs
- Experience leading talent development programs including: talent development reviews, talent succession planning and employee career development discussions
- Knowledge of performance management principles and program execution
- Familiarity with career pathing approaches
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
- Ability to drive results in a complex, high-growth company
