About the Role

The Reserve at Katy Senior Living Community is actively seeking Medication Administration Specialists to support the well-being of our residents under the guidance of the Assisted Living Director.

  • Shifts Available: 1st shift (6:00 am to 2:00 pm); 2nd shift (2:00 pm to 10:00 pm); 3rd shift (10:00 pm to 6:00 am).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the self-administration of medications for residents in compliance with applicable Federal & State regulations as directed by the LPN/LVN and/or the Assisted Living Director.
  • Document and report any changes in residents' health to the LPN/LVN and/or Assisted Living Director.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Maintain effective communication with all departments and staff.
  • Conduct educational sessions for residents and staff as requested by supervisors.
  • Understand and fulfill responsibilities within the Safety & Disaster Plan.
  • Ensure confidentiality of residents' information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Medication Technician is required.
  • Certification as a Medication Aide/Tech is a plus.
  • Experience in Senior Living environments is preferred.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent experience and/or training is necessary.
