Qualifications:

The following qualifications are essential for this position:

  • Must be free from illegal drug use.
  • Must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on duty.
  • Individuals with a history of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment in a healthcare setting are not eligible for employment.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. A minimum of one year of experience as a Dietary Cook in a long-term care food service environment is desirable.

Language Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms with supervisors and team members.
