Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at AdventHealth Central Texas. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nutrition care to patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met, and documenting their progress accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and review Clinical Nutrition functions, including Medical Nutrition Therapy, corporate projects, and department initiatives.
  • Assist with employee selection, orientation, and instruction, as needed.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and compliance of patient menus, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective multidisciplinary relationships to provide uniformed patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Clinical Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Successful completion of a dietetic internship.
  • Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or within six months from date of hire.
  • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians at the time of employment or within one year from date of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nutrition.
  • Experience in acute care clinical dietetics.
  • ServSafe Certification.
