Fosun aims to lead in specialty generics and branded pharmaceuticals by creating advanced, innovative products targeting therapeutic areas such as oncology, autoimmune diseases, and CNS disorders. The company seeks to expand its pipeline through internal R&D, business development, and licensing, focusing on high-barrier, complex, innovative 505(b)(2) products, including incubating early-stage exploratory 505(b)(1) products utilizing cutting-edge technology.

Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned marketing leader to join our Innovative Medicines Team. This pivotal role involves developing late-stage clinical products and advancing both internal and external assets to enhance our portfolio. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Innovative Medicines and serve as the commercial liaison to the medical team, steering marketing strategy development to support product launches and portfolio growth. This position will be highly visible within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the strategic marketing function for Innovative Medicines at Fosun Pharma USA.
  • Oversee portfolio planning in alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Collaborate with R&D and other strategic partners to design and guide product development programs from a commercial viewpoint, leveraging a strong understanding of the product development process and functional areas such as quality and regulatory.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create a cohesive launch plan.
  • Develop brand strategy and ensure execution aligns with business objectives.
  • Enhance Fosun's reputation in the US market, paving the way for future product launches.
  • Provide expert insights to global strategy from a US market perspective.
  • Analyze internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to enhance products and processes, utilizing industry trend insights to inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent marketing experience is required; an MBA is highly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership in both pipeline and inline brands, with a focus on product launches in oncology.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience specifically in oncology.
  • Additional commercial experience in sales and access is advantageous.
  • Proven team leadership capabilities and the ability to contribute individually.
  • Demonstrated experience in refining and executing overall brand strategy, leading all aspects of tactical execution, and managing complex cross-functional teams to achieve brand goals.
  • Experience in launching and marketing a brand using omnichannel strategies as a significant promotional component.
  • Understanding of marketing technology and its effective application in product marketing.
  • Proven track record in creating, developing, and implementing marketing strategies and plans, key messaging, and promotional activities to boost brand awareness and accelerate profitable revenue growth in collaboration with the field force.
