Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Address client inquiries regarding policies and coverage in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct comprehensive policy reviews, suggest appropriate coverages, and prepare proposals for renewal and additional lines of coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with producers to market new business and negotiate renewals, aiming for optimal coverage and cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier representatives and underwriters.
  • Utilize agency management software and carrier online rating portals effectively.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of client and policy information within the agency management system.
  • Stay updated on industry changes and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial lines account management or a related field within the insurance sector.
  • Property and Casualty license is mandatory.
  • Preferred designations include Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
  • Proficient in agency management software, preferably Applied (TAM or EPIC) or AMS360.
  • Strong understanding of various commercial insurance policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and carriers.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for creating professional reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
