We are seeking an experienced Insurance Collections Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate payment from insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and resolve insurance denials and rejections in a timely manner
  • Review and follow up on unpaid claims to ensure maximum reimbursement
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, adjustors, and patients to resolve issues
  • Correct errors and resubmit claims to insurance companies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in medical billing or insurance collections
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance, government insurance, and claims processing systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
