Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate Engineer at Strategic Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for evaluating new materials, conducting root cause analyses of defective materials, and developing and implementing data management solutions to support our gas engineering and laboratory staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Evaluation and Testing: Lead material evaluation discussions, perform material testing, and conduct chloride analyses to ensure the quality and safety of our materials.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Develop and implement Power BI dashboards and PowerApps to support our engineering and laboratory staff, including participating in weekly team metric huddles to improve efficiency and regulatory reviews and audits to support continuous improvement.
  • Gas Sample Management: Prepare gas sample bottles for testing, check gas analysis data, and attend field visits with laboratory technicians to gain a deeper understanding of the sampling process and the requirements for natural gas samples.
  • Project Coordination: Support the coordination of Fire Extinguisher inspections throughout our gas company.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience or internships in an engineering role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Certifications and Training: Relevant certifications or training in engineering principles and practices.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
