As a Member Service Center Associate, you will leverage your outstanding communication abilities to deliver professional and tailored service to our Members/Customers. Additionally, you will experience the fulfillment of aiding our members/customers while expanding your knowledge and skills within the Financial Services sector.

On a typical day, your responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing incoming calls and assisting members with various inquiries, including:
  • Resolving issues
  • Promoting credit union products
  • Providing rate quotes and negotiations
  • Investigating account details
  • Processing check orders, statements, and copies
Key Responsibilities
  • Quoting savings and loan rates
  • Providing blue book rate quotes
  • Ordering checks
  • Requesting statements and check copies
  • Calculating and quoting dividends (interest) and loan payments
  • Facilitating loan payoffs
  • Managing payroll deductions
  • Offering general information
  • Setting up automatic transfers
  • Advising members on investment opportunities
  • Referring members for account openings, adjustments, and closures
  • Cross-selling Credit Union products
  • Performing other assigned duties
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with customer service practices in a Credit Union setting preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and patience in public interactions
  • Basic accounting skills to manage and balance accounts
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in data entry
  • Able to effectively cross-sell products and services
