Job Title: Apartment Tax Credit Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Apartment Tax Credit Coordinator to join our team at JT Solution Partners Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax credit compliance and experience working with low-income housing tax credits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize tax credit knowledge to assist in the preparation and submission of tax documents related to apartment properties.
  • Coordinate with property management to ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Analyze financial data and reports to identify tax credit opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement tax strategies and maximize tax benefits for the organization.
  • Stay updated on Fair Housing regulations and tax laws to provide accurate guidance and support.
  • Demonstrate leadership in tax planning and execution to optimize tax credit outcomes.

Requirements:

  • At least 1+ years' experience level or above within the property management industry;
  • TAX CREDIT experience required.
  • Working knowledge of principles and practices of property management record keeping with an understanding of resident ledger analysis.
  • Working knowledge of 3-day notice procedures and strong collections experience required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft software such as Excel, Word.
  • Property Management Software; proficiency with Real page Google Suites Software system is highly desirable but not required.
  • The ability to develop a sense of community amongst staff and residents.
  • Model adherence to federal and state Equal Employment and Equal/Fair Housing Opportunity requirements.
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, including excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • The ability to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately without constant supervision, and demonstrate positive leadership skills.

  • Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience preferred.
