Senior Credit Analyst Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Analyst Team Lead to join our team at Washington Trust Bank. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for managing a team of credit analysts, analyzing financial data, and making informed credit decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of credit analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of credit analysis and risk assessment tasks.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis of commercial loan customers, including reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess creditworthiness.
- Credit Decision Making: Make informed credit decisions based on financial analysis and risk assessment, working closely with relationship managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with bank policies and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of credit analysis and risk assessment processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with relationship managers, credit administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of credit analysis and risk assessment activities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed credit decisions.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with relationship managers, credit administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of credit analysts.
Washington Trust Bank offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $110,652 - $166,052, with a target starting range of $125,000 - $150,000. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, financial, retirement, and work-life benefits.
