Job Overview

The Print Production Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and executing all operations at the print press within PXP Solutions. This position requires individuals who thrive in a dynamic, production-focused environment that demands adaptability and effective multitasking. The Print Production Specialist will report directly to the Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely fulfillment of all production requests at the designated press.
  • Collaborate with the production supervisor and planner to confirm that all necessary materials are available for order completion.
  • Communicate any potential production delays to relevant departments and leadership.
  • Facilitate quick and efficient screen setups.
  • Establish and nurture effective working relationships across various departments within PXP Solutions.
  • Oversee and manage inventory of supplies at the press (Ink, Screens, Emulsions, etc.).
  • Promote a culture of safety within the warehouse environment.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes at the print press.
  • Assist in training new print press operators and assistants.
  • Drive productivity and efficiency in press operations.
  • Ensure compliance with production orders at the press.
  • Act as a key partner to the production supervisor, providing feedback and troubleshooting support.
  • Develop and mentor print press assistants.
  • Ensure the flawless execution of print production protocols at the press.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the production supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Experience in screen printing or screen making is required.
  • Familiarity with print production inks is essential.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to convey information effectively.
  • Capable of managing multiple details simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to adapt to changes while maintaining productivity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, providing support to colleagues as needed.
  • Availability to work from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
