Job Summary

The Client Account Lead is a seasoned sales professional responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with financial institutions in the Greater Midwest region. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT managed services, cloud, and consulting markets, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities with financial clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executive clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality proposals and presentations that meet client requirements.
  • Drive profitable growth by developing a robust pipeline of opportunities and ensuring the sustainability of SDI's business.
  • Provide oversight of complex program delivery, including project execution and business operations.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of sales experience in business development or large deal capture roles, with a proven track record of success in the financial services market.
  • Established book of business in IT/cloud managed services, technology implementations, and advisory/consulting services for financial institutions.
  • Expertise in driving sales engagements from lead generation through contract signing and service initiation.
  • Strong sales acumen, persuasion skills, and ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships.
  • Results-oriented self-starter approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other sales, solutions, and delivery teams.
Additional Requirements Desired
  • 10+ years of IT consulting sales experience within a mid/large IT Managed Services, Cloud, or Consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated public-facing presentation and writing skills, for participation in webinars and contributing content to the company blog.
  • Ability to support organizational development activities, including recruiting and community building.
