Position Overview:

As a Customer Support Specialist I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient execution of various on-site tasks while delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively communicate with supervisors regarding potential issues or customer feedback.
  • Efficiently manage and respond to inquiries from management and clients through various communication channels.
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Assist in the development of the Site Procedure Guide to accurately document all account processes.
  • Duties may encompass Copy/Print Production, Copier Maintenance, Mail Services, Reception, Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Management, and File Room Services, depending on the assigned location.
  • Participate in cross-functional training to ensure readiness to cover for colleagues when necessary.
  • Be adaptable to changes in site responsibilities and coverage based on client needs.
  • Handle the timely and precise receiving, sorting, delivery, and processing of all courier items and mail.
  • Track and manage courier and accountable items (e.g., FedEx, UPS).
  • Investigate and route unidentified mail.
  • Log and track messenger items efficiently.
  • Address customer requests promptly.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of equipment.
  • Document and monitor customer inquiries and the fulfillment of requests.
  • Oversee the shipping and receiving of packages, ensuring accurate record-keeping of all shipments.
  • Receive shipments, verify contents, retain necessary paperwork, and secure customer signatures.
  • Operate shipping/receiving equipment, respond to customer inquiries, and maintain inventory records.

Qualifications:

This role is customer-facing and requires adherence to customer policies, which may include health and safety protocols.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required, along with less than one year of relevant experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency and technical knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Must obtain any required security clearances to access client premises.
  • May require travel between various client locations, necessitating a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the workday.
  • Ability to stand, bend, walk, reach, and pull for extended periods while performing job duties.

Compensation:

In accordance with applicable law, the anticipated base salary for this position is $25.49.
