Job Title: Fire Damage Crew Chief

We are seeking an experienced Fire Damage Crew Chief to join our team at ServiceMaster of Montgomery, Frederick, Howard, PG, & Washington Counties. As a key member of our disaster restoration team, you will be responsible for leading our crew in providing top-notch service to our customers.

Job Summary:

The Fire Damage Crew Chief will be responsible for ensuring the team's performance meets ServiceMaster's standards and specifications. This includes assessing damaged properties, removing damaged materials, and handling any issues caused by fire and smoke damage. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and coaching skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the disaster restoration team in providing excellent service to customers
  • Assess damaged properties to prevent further damage and stabilize
  • Remove damaged materials and handle any issues caused by fire and smoke damage
  • Ensure the team's performance meets ServiceMaster's standards and specifications
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for team members
  • Maintain inventory of clean, properly stocked, and organized service vehicles and equipment
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
  • Be able to drive a 26' Truck (Preferred)
  • Thrive in high-pressure situations
  • Positive attitude, desire to learn and grow, and improve daily
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • IICRC Requirements: FRST, OCT, HST, WRT
  • Restoration experience preferred

  • Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating
