Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of one to three years of relevant experience or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience. Familiarity with building systems, codes, and equipment in healthcare settings is essential.

Certifications and Requirements

A valid State Driver's License is necessary for travel. Candidates must meet health requirements, including TB testing, and pass a criminal background check. A genuine compassion for and desire to assist the elderly is essential.

Essential Skills

Strong communication skills are vital for interacting with residents, their families, and team members. Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operational instructions, and maintenance manuals. Writing routine reports and effectively presenting information to groups is also required. A common-sense approach to following instructions in various formats is essential.
