Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention.
  • Welcome members as they enter and leave the YMCA, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Implement and enforce YMCA safety protocols, prioritizing member and staff safety.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, volunteers, and collaborative partners, building a strong sense of community and connection.
  • Handle and resolve membership concerns, communicating effectively with members and staff.
  • Maintain branch and association certifications, adhering to policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and YMCA software systems.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, including criminal record check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
